Advertising can be intense and stressful but it can also be fun and enlightening and solve problems and bring good into the world. Being creative isn’t just about being clever. It’s about rebounding with energy and enthusiasm - and perhaps a few “conchas” - when the going gets tough. I’ve learned a lot about the importance of “dulce” when mentoring newcomers, leading a team and working with clients. A little sweetness goes a long way.
